Dear
Friends,
The 14th annual Latino conference of September 15, 16, 17,
and 18, 2008 features fifty workshops addressing Latino
workforce, prevention, and intervention in Latino behavioral
health. The conference program explores various issues with
Latino age groups from birth throughout the lifespan. The
two pre-conference intensives explore 1) cultural
considerations in working with Latino families and 2) how to
successfully write grants for the federal government. The
14th annual conference also will have cultural and
entertainment throughout the program. LBHI’s honorees this
year include, Mr. Luis Valdez, creator of Teatro Campecino
and Dr. Armando Morales, author of numerous Latino
publications.
I encourage you to register early.
Sinceramente,
Ambrose Rodriguez
